Either some plot point immediately antagonized me; or the writing style annoyed me and I couldn't immerse myself; or I became bored and disinterested because the synopsis misled me; or I felt there was too much focus on attraction as a plot point (a source of conflict) and not enough focus on the environment or adventure.
