An anonymous poem of the thirteenth century containing maxims and proverbs attributed to Alfred the Great.
"The shorter text, as in the Jesus college (Oxford) ms." and "the longer text, as in the Trinity college (Cambridge) ms." printed on opposite pages, with "fragments of a third text, as formerly extant in Ms. Cotton, Galba A. XIX" printed in the lower part of pages 2-13. cf. p. [1]
