A reprint of three anonymous tracts published in one volume at Antwerp (date assigned by Arber as not later than 1511) and forming "The first English book on America" in the present collection. (Harisse, Bibl. amer. vetus., no. 116, gives the date of publication as 1521 or 1522). In the first tract occurs the word "Armenica" (America) for the first time in an English book.
