Kiggins & Kellogg was located at 123 & 125 William St., New York, from 1856 to 1857 ("113" on title page is a misprint). Cf. American Antiquarian Society's 19th century children's book trade directory.

In tan wrapper with illustration signed by Samuel Wallin.

Contains four engravings of which three are signed William Howland. Also includes drawings of exercises.

Publisher's advertisments on pages 2, 3 and 4 of wrapper. "Redfield's toy books, four series of twelve books each, beautifully illustrated, from designs by J.G. Chapman. Prices one, two, four, and six cents"--Page 4.
