This is a video game reveiw and tips book. The 83 reviews in this book are a collection of newspaper columns titled "The Video Beat", by the "Vid Kid" {Rawson Stovall}. The book is text only, with no illustrations or screenshots. The first half of the book is reviews. The book then gives helpful hints in picking games, hosting tournaments, explaining how cartridges are made, descriptions of various accessories, and information about fan clubs, and system service centers. The guide covers titles on Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Intellivision, Odtssey2, and Vectrex systems. The book was originally sold for $6.95.
