Epic celebratory poem on the marriage of Maria, Princeza dos Brazis, Duqueza de Bragança, the future Queen Maria I, and Pedro, Infante de Portugal, the future King Pedro III, held in Lisbon.

One of the personages in the poem is the conde de Oeiras, later the marques de Pombal, who takes on the role of the one who spread news of the nuptials throughout the four corners of the world. In Asia (p. 151-156) the Muses sing of the Portuguese colony of Goa. In America, (p. 163-167) there is mention of gold, silver and diamonds. Pombal also visits Africa (p. 173-176) before returning to Europe (p. 202-215) ending his voyage at the town of Guarda.

"Dialogo panegyrico em obsequio do Serenissimo Principe de Beyra", p. 179-198, has separate caption title.

"Ofraçaõ panegyrica, que fez o author, e se recitou por ordem de Senado da camera da cidade da Guarda em a noite do dia 27 de agosto do presente anno de 1761 em huma noblissima encamizada, e maginifico oyteiro, que se fez em applauso do feliz, e estimabilissimo nascimento", p. 221-233, has separate caption title.
