Sung by Alan Titus, as the Celebrant, with assisting vocal soloists; Norman Schribner Choir; Berkshire Boy Choir; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre; "Pre-recorded tape interludes"; orchestra of strings, percussion and 2 organs, and "a stage orchestra, in costume, of brass, woodwinds, electric guitars and keyboards, etc."; the composer conducting.

Sung partly in Latin and partly in English.
