This is a reference book of Warner Brothers cartoons. It describes each cartoon, and major character. It begins with the pilot reel in 1929, and continues until 1969 when Warner Brothers cancelled their cartoon productions. The authors also distinguish between the two main cartoon series 'Looney Tunes', and 'Merrie Melodies', as well as government sponsored projects. The book was originally printed in 1981 and republished in 1998, it has the same book identifier numbers on it's copyright page, with only a additional 1998, copy write and a new '1997 Preface'.
