Work Description
This book is a basic grammatical description of the Q'eqchi' (formerly written Kekchi) language of Guatemala, a language with some 500,000 speakers. The grammar focuses on the inflectional affixes, particularly the pronominal affixes, but also including affixes for tense, aspect, and movement. It does not present much information on syntax. It includes chapters on phonetics and phonology, pronouns, verbs, nouns, and statives.
