Facsimile produced from a hand-written and illustrated copy of the original Rupertsberger codex, which was made by nuns in 1927-1933; and a photographic record of original codex made in 1920.

The commentary volume to this facsimile - entitled Die Miniaturen im "Liber scivias" der Hildegard von Bingen : die Wucht der Vision und die Ordnung der Bilder, by Lieselotte E. Saurma-Jeltsch - was published by Reichert in Wiesbaden in 1998.
