The Cambrai Museum of Fine Arts is organizing from November 21, 2020 to March 14, 2021 the exhibition 'Lines and colors - Geometric abstraction of the 80s'. This exhibition will bring together 8 artists (Geneviève Claisse, Jean Dewasne, Colette Dupriez, Jean Legros, Guy De Lussigny, François Morellet, Aurelie Nemours, Marie-Thérèse Vacossin) and fifty geometric works of art from the museum's latest acquisitions on a period of 10 years, 2010-2020. 0The catalog that will be edited will have a dual function. The first is that of accompanying the exhibition; the second is to be a catalog of collections bearing witness to works belonging to the collections of the Cambrai Museum of Fine Arts. Indeed, if the health evolution can call into question the physical organization of the exhibition, the catalog will have to adapt to this perspective. Le musée des beaux-arts de Cambrai organise du 21 novembre 2020 au 14 mars 2021 l'exposition ' Lignes et couleurs - Abstraction geometrique des annees 80 '. Cette exposition réunira 8 artistes (Geneviève Claisse, Jean Dewasne, Colette Dupriez, Jean Legros, Guy De Lussigny, François Morellet, Aurelie Nemours, Marie-Thérèse Vacossin) et une cinquante d'oeuvres d'art géométrique issues des dernières acquisitions du musée sur une période de 10 ans, 2010-2020. 0Le catalogue qui sera édité aura une double fonction. La première est celle d'accompagner l'exposition; la seconde est celle d'être un catalogue de collections témoignant des oeuvres appartenant aux collections du musée des beaux-arts de Cambrai. En effet, si l'évolution sanitaire peut remettre en cause l'organisation physique de l'exposition, le catalogue devra s'adapter à cette perspective.
