Goshka Macuga creates networks between places and times, people and stories. She is known for her eclectic working methods, which extending into the fields of curation and narration. Collages, sculptures, mirror works, tapestries and installations offer a wide-ranging insight into Macuga's oeuvre. The catalogue shows spatial sculptural works from the series 'International Institute of Intellectual Co-operation' which she has worked on since 2015. The molecular-like links between great thinkers refer to an initiative of the same name, which aimed to establish an exchange of ideas between intellectuals in the 1920s. Liberated from time and space, Macuga's Institute enables fictional discussions to take place. Exhibition: Neues Museum, Nürnberg, Germany (13.07. - 16.09.2018).
