"Queste Rime di Petrarca, il cui testo venne curato da Gianfranco Contini, furono composte da Alberto Tallone e licenziate dai torchi dell Hôtel de Sagonne in Parigi il trentun dicembre 1949. Ne furono impressi trecentosettantacinque esemplari cosi ripartiti: venticinque su carta Montval, numerati da I a XXV; trecentocinquanta su apposita carta della manifattura di Rives recante nella filigrana il nome di Petrarca, numerati da uno a trecentocinquanta in cifre arabe"--Colophon.
