On March 5th, 2007 a car bomb was exploded on al-Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad, the historic center of Baghdad bookselling, holds bookstores and outdoor bookstalls ... Now the al-Mutanabbi Street Coalition is issuing a call for book artists to work on a project to "re-assemble" some of the "inventory" of the reading material that was lost in the car bombing of al-Mutanabbi Street.

Red paper with fragments of quote (in Arabic) from Kant's Critique of pure reason pasted to gray paper. Stitched in red silk thread, with trailing ends; bound accordion-style in covers of black-and-gray houndstooth-print fabric over pasteboard.
Created for the "An Inventory of Al-Mutanabbi Street" project to commemorate the 2007 car bombing on al-Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad, which was the heart and soul of the Baghdad literary and intellectual community.
Issued in an edition of 300, signed and numbered by the author.
