The 30 Roman-numbered plates are photogravures, engraved by A. Dawson and W.L. Colls. "The plates ... were taken ... in the summer of 1887 ... The photo-etching 'The last of the ebb' is from Mr. Goodall's large painting of Great Yarmouth from Breydon ... The remaining plates are photo-etchings from photographic plates, all taken by me"--Preface. There is also a folded plan of Breydon Water.
