Researchers interested in the 1781 Zong Massacre should refer to the National Archives Court of King's Bench, collections KB 122/479, KB 125/168, and KB 168/50. In addition, the National Archives also has the Privy Council records of the Order in Council (1805) regarding slave licenses (PC 2/168) and Treasury entry books of Royal warrant, containing the 1714 Royal warrant assigning the Asiento (license) to the South Sea Company (T 52/26).
