Edition Notes
The third edition of Châteillon's version, and the last issued before his death in 1563.
Prefixed is Ad lectores admonitio; list of books, and De Seb. Castalion's Bibliorum translatione Friderici Furij Caeriolani Valentini carmen.
The text is arranged much as in the first edition published in 1551, but a full column contains from 61 to 64 lines, and only the supplementary pieces are in italic type. The text is not divided into verses.
The device on the title-page represents Arion riding on a dolphin. Illustrations occur in the Annotations.
Columns irregularly numbered.
