This edition is known to exist in at least two states: in one, the second leaf is signed 'bij'; in the other 'aij' is correctly signed.
Signatures: a-z⁸ A-K⁸ 2a-2z⁸ (final 2 leaves blank).
Printer's device (snake and branch) on the title pages, and verso of leaf zz6 v.2 (olive tree).
Foliated and grotesque Greek initials and matching head-pieces.
Second Estienne of the Greek New Testament, known as the second "O mirificam" edition; the first edition, printed in 1546, has some differences in the text.
Printed in Claude Garamond's second "Grec du roi" type.
