Edition Notes

The last page is blank.

Text printed in two columns.

Several engraved head- and tailpieces and ornamental initials, engraved by Maximilian Joseph Limpach after Filippo Juvara (p. I, XVI), Ant. Frizo (p. IV).

Illustrations: engraved title page with a medallion portrait of the deceased in allegorical setting with vanitas motives and a coat of arms, engraved by Giovanni Girolamo Frezza after Gian Paolo Panini. Large folded plate (impression size: 47 x 64 cm.) depicting the catafalque, designed by Ferdinandus Fuga and erected in Santi Apostoli church in Rome, with title in lower margin, engraved by Balthasar Gabbuggiani after Gian Paolo Panini.

Large folded double plate (impresion size: 48 x 64 cm.) depicting the funeral procession in Rome, with title, coat of arms and captions listing the participants. Engraved by Roccus Pozzi after Gian Paolo Panini. This print is an earlier version of one used in 1766 for the funeral procession of Maria Clementina's husband James, the Prince of Wales, also published by Salvioni (cf. Festarchitektur). Both prints vary in title and details of coats of arms, features of the deceased and inscription of the cartouche in the lower right part of the print. The captions identifying the participants are identical in both prints, with exception of caption no. 40 referring to the deceased as Cadaver Reginae or as Cadaver Regis. Instead of the artists names the later print is signed: Romae ex Chalcographia R.C.A. apud Curiam Innocenzianam.

In Latin and Italian.
