Edition Notes

Title in red and black.

The task was divided between the authors in such a manner that Härtel undertook the description of the manuscript and of the Greek text, and Wickhoff that of the pictures. The work of Professor Wickhoff, detached from the "Wiener Genesis," is the part given in the above translation. cf. Author's preface to the English edition.
