Posit Part 4, also known as Volo: A Chapbook, was mostly written at Volo Coffeehouse on Main Street, Manayunk, Philadelphia, in January 2023, when the chapbook was also published, by Funtime Press. The second two-thirds of The Posit Trilogy (2017) was also written mostly at Volo Coffeehouse, in 2013. Cover image is Trees, by Piet Mondrian (1912). Both Posit and The Posit Trilogy also feature cover images by Mondrian.

Posit, by American poet Adam Fieled, was released as a chapbook, in print and online, on June 9, 2007, as part of the Dusie Chapbook Kollektiv. Posit also appeared as a second edition in The Posit Trilogy, an e-book by Adam Fieled released by The Argotist Online on September 9, 2017.
