Work Description

Focuses on architectural monuments and ruins while providing insight into ancient history and the daily lives of ancient people. Vol. 1 examines the history of the ancient city of Carthage in what is now Tunisia, its trade-based culture, and the events leading up to its downfall in the hands of the Romans.

Vol. 2 focuses on the biblical lands of the ancient Hebrews, particularly the city of Jerusalem. Includes graphic recreations of the Ark of the Covenant and the Temple on the Mount.
