The paradigm of Yoga is summarized for easier broad conceptualization of the philosophical viewpoint of this ancient study of self for modern readers, and in order for them to gain access to the deeper insights of the core, foundational aspects of a complete, holistic, aligned and effective Yoga practice.

Excerpts

88. If not, remember that the first man
who said no to injustice, and to wrong, harm,
sadness, and ignominy, who searched within
Himself to take responsibility, who raised His
hand and said, ‘let me’, who dug out the Truth
from depths unfathomable, without fear, nor
guilt, and for the well-being and happiness of
others as His chief-concern above all, and least
of all His own, who surrendered to what is and
is not possible, who conquered Himself and
thus too, the whole world under Him, who
persuades and encourages forever, disciples to
desist from evil ways, to endeavour towards the
good in every manner, He who completed the
impossible, divine mission, He who performed
this phenomenon of supreme enlightenment,
did so absolutely and entirely, unaided. So too,
must we!
