An edition of Galicia (1974)

Galicia

andadura de una tierra sin fronteras

Essays about the West-Spanish region of Galicia, completed with a series of socio-economic descriptions of the towns of La Coruña,Pontevedra, Orense and Lugo in the 1960's. The book also includes interesting socio-filological material: three lists of the peculiar regional jargon of respectively stonemasons, knife-grinders, bricklayers and weavers, as compiled by philologists Alfredo García Alén and Domingo Álvarez Álvarez.
