Edition Notes
Another issue of the same year, apparently slightly earlier, does not have "J. Johnson and Co." in the imprint, does not have the price "3s." below the date on the title page, and in the advertisements on p. [62] gives the price of the 3rd edition of Malthus's Observations on the corn laws as "3s." (corrected in some copies in ms. to "2/6") and includes the statement about his The grounds of an opinion on the policy of restricting the importation of foreign corn: "In a few days will be published, price 1s. 6d."
