An edition of Unofficial history (1959)

Unofficial history

One of the lesser known works of Bill Slim, it has captivating accounts of small actions by troops under the command of the young Slim. The lucidity of the narrative, the objectivity of the narrator and the self-deprecating air of the text is an indicator that this young man was bound or higher ranks.
