Has been wrongly attributed to C.E. Briseux; here wrongly attributed to C.A. Jombert. The anonymous treatises in v. 1 were commissioned by Claude Jombert, publisher of the 1728 ed. Of the plates constituting v. 2, unsigned plates 1-130 are by G. Tiercelet; 131-144 are signed by J. Courtonne as designer. Cf. Journal of the Soc. of Architectural Historians, v. 18, 1959, p. 60-62.
