Edition Notes
Season in Hell: White Candle documents the relationship between the author and Jennifer Strawser, in the mid-1990s. Room 510 is in the Atherton Hilton hotel, in State College, Pennsylvania. The poem borrows liberally from French Symbolist poet Arthur Rimbaud, whose masterpiece is also called A Season in Hell. Jennifer Strawser appears as Jena Strayner in other Fieled books: Equations, Letters to Dead Masters.
