Broadside, printed in blue ink, advertising a magic show by Austrian magician Louis (Ludwig) Döbler to be held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 4, 6 and 8 June.

Mullin & Crozier operated a printing business at the address given at the foot of the playbill (Silver Street, Regent, Street, and at 1 & 2 Circus Street, New Road) between 1847 and 1849. Cf. Todd, W.B. Directory of printers and others in allied trades, London and vicinity, 1800-1840.

June 4 fell on a Tuesday in 1839, 1844, 1850 and 1861.
