Edition Notes
An account of the two Tichborne trials concerning Thomas Castro, otherwise called Arthur Orton, claiming to be Sir Roger Charles Doughty-Tichborne. The first trial was held in the Court of Common Pleas. In the second, the criminal trial, the defendant was tried for perjury before the Court of Queen's Bench, April 23, 1873-February 28, 1874.
