Account of St. John's college revels at Oxford in 1607-08, from the original manuscript in the college library. Includes eight plays, five in Latin and three in English, and nine narratives, now printed in full for the first time.
The narrative portion of the manuscript (ascribed to Griffin Higgs) and the "Seven days of the week" were published by Philip Bliss in 1816, in Miscellanea antiqua anglicana, v. 1, under title: An account of the Christmas prince, as it was exhibited in the University of Oxford...1607.
The manuscript has no t.-p., but begins with caption: A true and faithful relation of the risinge and fall of Thomas Tvcker, Prince of Alba Fortunata, Lorde St. Iohns &ct. With all the Occurents wch happened through-out his whole Domination.
