Book Details
First Sentence
"When we consider simply the corpus of the Meditationes de prima philosophia, one question demands our attention: If one cannot refrain from taking the six meditations for the body of the work, should one add the Objections and Replies as merely related pieces (integumenta, Descartes would have said) or recognize them as inseparable members of the central body?"
