Plates are dated 1816-1819.
Each plate has an engraved caption in Italian and most are keyed to volumes of an Italian edition of Charles Rollin's Histoire romaine ("Istoria romana").
LC copy has the blind stamp of G.V. Yudin on plate [11] in v. 1 and plate [13] in v. 2. French captions in manuscript at bottom of each plate. Bound in tree calf with tooled border and marbled endpapers. All edges gilt.
