This edition should be a reprint from 1903 more information inside the book.
This book is a wealth of knowledge. It starts out with the general introduction & history of lathes & progresses up through the development of the "Modern Watchmakers Lathe". He explains different tools, accessories, materials, & how to use them. This is old school, you had to work for everything you made as parts were not always available, before CNC & CAD CAM, & computers. Be reminded that if not for these guys you would not have the marvelous electronic toys you have today. Best regards & good luck! MJR 6 DELTA LS
