Rumo lernt das Kämpfen, die Liebe, die Freundschaft und das Böse kennen, es verschlägt ihn in den geheimnisvollen Nurnenwald, in die legendären Untenwelt und in das Theater der Schönen Tode; er erfährt von den Unvorhandenen Winzlingen, von den Belagerungen der Lindwurmfeste, von Professor Dr. Abdul Nachtigaller und seinem Schubladenorakel – und Rumo findet endlich zu Rala, die ihm die Wunder im Dunkeln zeigt.
