The box of contributions for the Boston anti-slavery fair will hopefully sail on the next steamer. The amount is larger than last year. Eliza Wigham gives the names of some contributors to the fair and information about them. A box was received from Bolton in Lancashire "from quite new adherents to the cause." Some valuable books were contributed. Wigham tells of the reasons for non-cooperation; many object to certain resolutions. She expresses interest in the effects of the Fugitive Slave Law in America. Wigham says: "We shall be much interested to mark the conduct of the great Kossuth in your country."
