Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy formerly quarterbound in ca. 19th-century brown goatskin and marbled paper with title stamped in gilt along the spine. Conserved, rebound in paper, and housed in a tan cloth box (12/2017). Armorial bookplate of the Barton Library. Ownership inscription of Narcissus Luttrell ("Nar. Luttrell His Book 1682") on front flyleaf recto. Ink stamp of Richard Heber on front flyleaf recto. Provenance inscription in the hand of Thomas Pennant Barton on front flyleaf recto. Inscription of authorial attribution in the hand of Narcissus Luttrell on title page ("ye Duke of Buckingham"). Interleaved, with corresponding passages from the plays parodied within the text inscribed on the blank leaves in a hand ascribed by the Heber catalog to Narcissus Luttrell (Catalogue of the library of Richard Heber, part 2, lot no. 906)
