Randolph Randy Camp, author of the TV scripts and screenplays TIME OUT TIME IN, LABREA'S MOON, TONY'S BIKE and HARRY'S FIELD, is one of America's prolific writers. Randy is a Quarter-Finals Prize Winner of the Writers Network 14th Annual Screenplay and Fiction Competition in Los Angeles, California. Randy's four novels include WET MATCHES, '...THEN THE RAIN', FALSE DANDELIONS, and 29 DIMES: A LOVE STORY. Randy’s favorite quotes are ‘DON’T LET OTHERS DEFINE YOU — YOU DEFINE YOURSELF!’ and 'DON'T BE AFRAID TO DREAM BIG!' Randy is also a Youth Advocate and Mentor. Randy has a passion for working with at-risk and troubled teens. In May 2015, Randy acquired an A.S. Degree in Mental Health Substance Abuse Counseling from Erie Community College in New York. Randy was born on March 12, 1961 in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Randy has five daughters Christina, Melinda, Ranielle, Randie, Natasha and one son Joshua. Currently, Randy resides in Des Moines, Iowa where he is working on his next writing project in his free time. Randy is employed as a Resident Advisor at Youth Emergency Services & Shelter (YESS).
