520 $aThe Cambrian Coast railway line is one of the prettiest in Wales. A journey along it makes for a wonderful day out. However, on leaving the train behind there is a plethora of superb walks. The 32 walks described explore coastal or cliff top paths, quiet valleys, lakes, woodlands and hills as well as traversing some extremely fine beaches. Legends and history abound in the area which is highlighted in the text of each walk. Walks start from stations and mostly circular, with some linear. The scenery is dramatic, with sweeping vistas of estuaries and the sea, soaring mountains and fine sessile oak woods, making this an area well worth seeking out for holidays or for short breaks.
