The woodcuts are by Pierre Eskrich, based on the sets by Bernard Salomon designed for Jean de Tournes. Except for the [4] p. of contents at end, each p. is enclosed within a four-part ornamental border; many of the borders (including the t.p. border) signed P.V., probably for Pierre Vase [i.e. Eskrich].
