520 $aCharles Maclay (1710-1753) married Eleanor Query in 1733, and in 1734 emigrated from Ireland to Chester County, Pennsylvania, moving to Lancaster (now Franklin) County, Pennsylvania in 1742. Samuel Maclay (1841-1811), a son, married Elizabeth Plunket in 1773, and moved to Buffalo Valley, Union County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Illinois and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in Ireland to the early 1600s.
