520 $aVarious Fowler individuals immigrated during the 1600s from England to various parts of Virginia, and some of these began large families of descendants and relatives. From these various Fowler immigrants, the author traces the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth generations living in Virginia before her Fowler ancestry moved to North Carolina. Most of the Virginia Fowler families were connected with Carolina (North or South) Fowler families. Daniel Fowler (1714-1778) married Mary Rollins about 1745, and had extensive property in Dublin (later Sampson) County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere. The last half of the book traces other Fowler families in Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tenness;ee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.
