500 $aTranslation of: The green box of Monsieur de Sartine, found at Mademoiselle du The's lodgings. London, 1779.
500 $aA new edition, printed on the continent according to Butterfield, not in England, as other sources claim. Pages [1] to 68 are textually identical to the original edition in French, The Hague, 1779, but some minor typographical differences indicate that the type for this edition was set anew, but closely following that of the original edition. Pages 69-75 present a different text, replacing the text given on p. 69-70 of the original edition, while the text on p. 76 is identical with that on p. 71 of the previous edition. As in the original edition, the title page line "Monsieur de Sartine," is printed in red ink.
