Phelps, Lewis Tappan comments on a few subject matters Phelps addressed in his letter: regarding George Thompson, he (Tappan) doesńt have much confidence in him; as for the mission to England, the Executive Committee is opposed to ́Mr. & Mrs. Ć going to England; the agency committee will act upon Phelpśs suggestions regarding the agency operations.
