Yerrinton also sends a copy of the last Christian Watchman, whose editor, Mr. Thresher, conducted the Watchman at the time of the Washington Street mob. Mr. Thresher "seems to have made considerable progress since then---even discovered slavery to be a sin!" James Brown Yerrinton dwells on a letter in the Watchman from Dr. Sharp to Mr. Storrs(?) regarding Mr. Storr's standing with the Baptist Convention.
