Garrison offers the use of his house in Boston. William Bassett's little son died of lung fever. Mrs. Maria W. Chapman is preparing "Right and Wrong in Massachusetts" for publication; it will make a stir. Lewis Tappan has written a very bad letter in reply to the committee's invitation to attend the N.E. Convention. Garrison will write to James G. Birney next week.
