The plates are bound together, unfolded, at the back of the volume. The text and plate leaves had been attached to the spine with staples, which have since fallen out. This volume is shelved in the Folio section.

590 $aSCDIRB copy of v. 1, c. 2 has the name of its former owner, [Homé] Reitwiesner, handwritten on the front cover. Homé Reitwiesner and her husband George Reitwiesner both worked on the development of the ENIAC after it was moved from Philadelphia to the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland in the late 1940s. According to NMAH curator Peggy Kidwell, this copy was received from Homé Reitwiesner.

There is a Smithsonian Libraries stamp on the t.p. Because of the quality of the photocopy. some of the text is faintly reproduced and hard to read in places.
