The spine is panelled and tooled in gilt and all text block edges are gilt. The armorial bookplate of the Barton Library is present on the front pastedown. Thomas Pennant Barton purchased this copy in 1843. The original title page is wanting and has been replaced in this copy with a facsimile by John Harris.
