520 $aJohn Robinson married Agnes Conway Moncure in 1801, and settled at Poplar Vale on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia. Agnes was a direct descendant of John Moncure (1709/1710-1764), who immigrated from England to Stafford County, Virginian in 1733. Moncure Robinson (1802-1891) was a son of John and Agnes, born in Richmond. He married Charlotte Taylor in 1835, and the last of their eleven children was the author.
