520 8 $aThe Russian artist Vladimir Arkhipov (1961 Ryazan, Moscow) and his archive of home-made objects stand outside the official art world, to a large extent. The objects he finds all over the world are made by ordinary people who prefer to make things themselves rather than buy manufactured goods. At the invitation of the Bonnefantenmuseum, Arkhipov investigated the self-production of people in Maastricht and the surrounding area. The result of this investigation is presented in the museum, along with photos, interviews with the makers, and videos that are accessible through QR codes. Exhibition: Bonnefantenmuseum, Maastricht, the Netherlands (4.7.-19.10.2014).
